he keeps track of me and he cleans up after me when i do the stupidest of stupid things. he didn't snitch on me when i crashed into that parked car. or like when we got kicked out of kroger for putting our dog into the shopping cart. my brother knows me better than i know myself.literally;
"nory, i know you. you're making me come in here & you're not even gonna buy anything. & now, you're gonna buy something ugly, just to prove me wrong. or some $3 lotion or something. nory, i know you."

The Suckiest Lesson
You never know what you have 'till it's gone//
And it's so true! We were raised hearing that phrase, but i'ts not until you go through a situation that relates to it, that you actually start to believe it. It's like knowing there's cockaroaches in your cabinets. I personally don't spend all day thinking about them, I just subconciously know they're there. It's not until I walk into the kitchen at night to get a glass of water, turn on the lights, and see them scatter that I actually freak out about them and say, "We have got to do something about those roaches."
We live in a nation where everything is handed to us, and it's time to start applying this lesson to our lives, instead of keeping it stored away in our kitchen cabinets.

Lingering
I'm playing piano now. But my guitar is gathering dust.
I feel like I should get my music more organized... like, make a music portfolio, and maybe make a fresh demo of my newest stuff, but I'm just lingering along, never getting things done.
I'm ready to leave my garage. I miss the stage. I miss the sound. I should stop living on fast forward. I liked it better when everything was on pause and I had nothing to do on weekends but make music for my neighbors.
